G’day friends,
I’m thrilled to take you on a tour inside the new Appetite for Living founding membership, the Sacred Creativity Collective!
What is the Sacred Creativity Collective?
It’s Appetite for Living’s sacred creativity incubator - a place for co-creating and co-visioning. Together we’ll make space for the mystery and the wild muse and explore a more expansive and relational approach to creativity including the rich sources of support, intelligence and wisdom beyond ourselves.
Each month on or around the new moon, we’ll come together online for an hour of sacred creative power guided by the themes of the seasons and cycles. Together we’ll create a container for intention setting, meditative writing, drawing, knitting, visioning, whatever vessel holds your creativity - using ritual, readings, prompts and harnessing the collective energy of like hearted folks up for remembering our interconnection with the greater web of life in service of our creativity.
It’s not about the craft of writing or receiving feedback on your work. There will be time for sharing about our projects, setting personal and collective intentions and sharing what we’re noticing in our creative practice and lives, especially once we get going and the magic starts to happen.
Why are we aligning with the moon?
The moon is universal and accessible to all of us regardless of where we are. All we have to do is look up to the night sky to reconnect with the greater turning. She provides a steady rhythm that our bodies and intuitions know and understand as well as providing the perfect framework for exploring other cycles and practices as portals to our inner knowing and the wisdom of the greater web of life.
Our monthly gatherings take place once a month on the Monday closest to the new moon because new moons are potent for sowing seeds and setting intentions.🌑✨🙏🔮 Through ritual, guiding questions and practices, together we’ll create a sacred container for creativity, connection, visioning, sharing and intention setting.
Who is it for?
Writers and creators looking to deepen their intuition and listening skills, remember and practice attunement with the bigger forces and cycles, enhance the power of their creativity in service of remembering, reconnection and breaking the culture of individualism and separation in a space where the support and company of both the seen and unseen is acknowledged, honoured and encouraged.
We’ll be guided by the necessity of the times in opening ourselves up to the stories that are longing to be told through us.
