This week’s poem is another from my new poetry collection, Reunion Songs - poems for reconnection and remembering yourself home. You can listen/watch me read and/or read along below.
ON HARD DAYS On days when hopelessness reigns, remember, you came here to love and to liberate. In a sea of indifference, be an island of tiny kindnesses, each an illumination of the truth of our belonging to each other. On hard days, find that part of you that longs to love more. Stay close to it, let it lead. Light up, let yourself be found, otherwise how will we ever find our way back to each other?
I am so grateful for your ongoing support, seen and unseen, cheering me on here and all the other digital places, sharing news about my book and buying the limited edition hardback.
Now the paperback is flying far and wide thanks to all of you!! You really have helped give Reunion Songs wings!
Here are the paperback LINKS by country:
Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Canada, Japan
If you’re keen on the signed limited edition hardback, you can find out more and buy it HERE.
Until next week, take care of each other’s hearts and may the forces for peace and goodness prevail! Together we really can create the more beautiful, just and compassionate world we long for.
Yours in reconnection, xAmanda
'find that part of you
that longs to love more.
Stay close to it, let it lead.'
And these lines, Amanda. I want to write them somewhere I can see them every morning.
I am consoled— mand returned to myself—by the truth and beauty of your words.
