Article voiceover
WAVE RIDER Sometimes, most times riding on means first being drawn far out to sea, where time quickens, then crests and turns in on itself, neither held nor free. one gasp is all you have to glimpse the vast mystery that carries you, before the crash and pull swallows and lays you bare again on the shore of your life. can you see now, the sea is not made of water, but tiny worlds lost and reborn time and again by mightier forces than you?
Can you relate? When have you glimpsed how far you’ve come and possibilities all at once?
I’m learning to sense and have faith in the bigger rhythms that play out regardless of my futile attempts to hinder them. And, if I remember to pause and anchor into the vastness. We are all part of something much bigger and one of the small everyday joys accessible to every one of us is to notice.
With love and in solidarity for the journey, Amanda
Boy it's a treat to hear your voice! I'll just imagine you narrating the next crash -- might make it more fun. 😉
Amen to it being such a treat to hear your voice! You have such a seamless way of making me remember the truth of it. So grateful 🌊🌀🐚
