Hello creative one! Welcome to Episode 4 of The Coven, our sacred creativity incubator for paid subscribers.
How are you? How is the tending of your relationship with your creative energy holding in these turbulent times?
Have you noticed it asking for more attention or to speak in a different way?
A few updates before we dive in ..
Our zoom gathering earlier this week was so good and just what I needed in amongst life’s sharp edges. So much gratiude to you who came along and shared so generously. We read and reflected on poetry, shared our creative projects, released some and practiced a heart tending visualisation. Gathering together in this way feels supportive and neccesary, and a way to transmute some of our big feelings around the state of play into conscious action.
We’ll come together again in February and I’ll be in touch in the new year with some dates and a POLL. In the meantime, know this space is available to support you and your creativity any time!
I’m taking some time away in January so the next episode will land early February.
In the new year, I’m also thinking of putting together a workshop on creative manifestations/poetry/songs as invocation and divination. I’d love to share my journey of becoming more intentional about this in my poetry practice. Thoughts?
“Nature uses only the longest threads to weave her patterns, so that each small piece of her fabric reveals the organization of the entire tapestry.” Richard P. Feynman, Nobel Prize winning physicist
Last month we explored intention and alignment and ritualising for guidance, clarity and potency.
With a lot of poems in my archive now, this month I’m feeling called to pause and pan out, to take both an expansive and focussed view of my work to look for patterns, themes and threads. The essential thread of the collection feels like it’s coming into view again and like a hawk, I’m conscious of holding the impulse for continued expansion and journeying through new terrain with honing in on what’s already been traversed.
So, this episode I’m sharing a video of where I’m at with my self publishing project, an oracle reading on looking for patterns, themes and threads and a bespoke visualisation journey based on the cards that I hope you also find useful for your life, practice and projects.
Here’s a poetic hint 🪶➰♥️
